Run a visit: device check, joining, the billing clock, ending the call
- The Join visit button appears on a confirmed visit 10 minutes before its start time and stays until 60 minutes after the scheduled end.
- Check your camera and microphone on the device screen (background blur is on by default), then join.
- If the patient has not arrived, the stage says so. For a priced visit, the clock in the top-left corner reads Billing starts when the patient joins.
- Once both of you are connected the clock starts. A flat visit shows minutes left in the paid block (it turns amber past the block, and nothing extra is charged). A per-increment visit shows elapsed time, the running total, and the time to the next increment.
- Click Leave visit to end. The visit is marked completed, the fee is captured (flat at the start, per-increment now), and the patient gets a receipt.
If your browser closes mid-call, the visit is closed automatically at the end of the paid time and billed for that, never for hours of silence.
