Starting your visit and how you are charged
- From Visits, click Join now when it appears (10 minutes before the start).
- For a priced visit, a Start session screen restates the price and asks you to agree that billing begins. Nothing is charged until your provider joins too.
- Check your camera and microphone, then join. If your provider has not arrived, the screen says so and billing has not started.
- Once you are both connected the clock starts. A flat-price visit shows the time left in the block you paid for. A per-minute visit shows time used and the running total.
- Leave the visit when you are done. Your receipt is emailed.
You are never charged for a visit that did not happen. If your provider never joins, the hold on your card is released.
