The catalog: eligibility, 503A and 503B

Updated Sep 10, 2026Not yet verified against the current release

Every product a pharmacy lists goes through an eligibility review before prescribers can see it. The review checks that the active ingredient is eligible for compounding under current FDA rules and that the pharmacy holds the right registration: 503A pharmacies compound patient-specific prescriptions, 503B outsourcing facilities compound office stock in bulk.

  • A product on hold in review does not appear in the catalog.
  • A product can be unavailable in a state where the pharmacy is not licensed to ship.
  • Each listing shows the pharmacy, dosage form, strength, quantity unit, and the patient price.
